The installation consists of several objects that mimic products from the worlds of wellness and fitness. At first glance, these items convey the impression that they can improve health, enhance physical performance, or boost psychological well-being. In reality, however, these objects do not fulfill their promised functions, serving instead as a satirical reflection of the deceptive practices frequently encountered in this industry.
The project simultaneously raises questions about the designer's agency—the power to influence people through their creations. Who designs these fraudulent products? What drives them? Where is the invisible line between responsible design and manipulation? What is 'right' and 'wrong' in design? The goal of the project is to encourage the viewer to re-evaluate their trust in 'miracle solutions' and to contemplate the role design plays in our daily faith in technology, health, and beauty.
