Vroom vroom
A porcelain collection inspired by tire tread patterns.

This project follows the previous series Boyhood, in which I addressed gender stereotypes from the perspective of my childhood self. In this new phase, I move the theme into a functional dimension—creating a collection of porcelain objects designed for serving tea and coffee.

The title VROOM VROOM references the childhood imitation of car or tractor sounds. The tire motif, frequently present on toys from my youth, becomes a symbol of reconciliation. After years of rejection, I decided to welcome these 'boyish' elements back into my life—a shift reflected in my decision to enroll in driving school.

The installation also includes various fragments from the production process and the daily life of a design student—molds, photographs, and to-do lists—which complete the personal dimension of the project.
