Adriána AdamováLight & ChandelierEN/SK
The work of Adriana Adamová is primarily defined by the iconic form of the chandelier, which has become her central visual language and a recurring element throughout her entire practice. In her interpretation, the chandelier is not merely a utilitarian object, but a medium through which she critically and poetically addresses diverse social and personal themes. Adriana experiments with unconventional materials and contexts, thereby pushing the boundaries of how light objects are perceived. She does not simply construct lamps; she creates light metaphors that illuminate the hidden layers of our reality.
Her approach is characterized by a rigorous search for form and meticulous craftsmanship. During her studies, her work transformed from material play toward the absolute abstraction of the product, shifting toward pure experience. Her "Foam b.r.o." chandeliers are currently installed in the Rómer House cultural space.
