The theme of this work is the human essence and the boundaries between the internal and external worlds. I seek to recall the elementary truth of our own existence—the simple fact that we are alive. Using a sensor, I measure the human heartbeat and translate the gathered data into a rhythmic curve. This curve modulates sound, altering its tempo in real time. The visuals are complemented by words—symbols—that are projected and shift in the same rhythm as the music.

The organic component (the pulse) influences the digital component (the sound), placing it into a new context. The purpose of the installation is to define the individual within their external environment and to create a meditative space for a conscious realization of this experience. A person enters the space alone and leaves it alone—a metaphor for morning and evening, representing moments of deceleration.
