That girl

With the integration of digital technologies into daily life, we are confronted with shifts that generate a new kind of sensitivity—or rather, a desensitization—toward evolving gender stereotypes in virtual environments. Today's 'young woman' is no longer waiting at home; she gives 110% to her day, builds her own business, curates her appearance, studies, and exercises—all while maintaining stoic composure. These seemingly harmless trends, spread through social media, can disrupt one's perception of self as a complete being, subconsciously reducing an individual's value to mere labor productivity or a flawless exterior.

The That Girl project employs the motif of fictional products that promise to enhance facial features according to a predetermined ideal of beauty. In reality, the result is a mechanical deformation into a grotesque form. The work satirizes the exaggerated demands and societal pressures placed upon the contemporary woman.
