The PLECHY_8 object introduces a new element of sound into public space. It utilizes existing drainage gutters and, through a minor intervention, redirects raindrops to make the object resonate in a controlled rhythm. This rhythm can be freely altered to compose a unique 'piece.' Furthermore, users can interact with individual parts of the object to create a custom arrangement of instruments—soundboxes.
