“Totality – the wholeness of a thing or phenomenon that is unquestionable and immutable.” Based on this definition, I searched for our inner totalities. What is unquestionable for us? Is it the moral compasses rooted deep within, or the rapidly formed opinions on everything and nothing? Are they true to us? Is truth objective? In my work, I pose these questions with an emphasis on challenging them. Is what I see truly the truth?
A fictional world was born. A world of cubes. They are static. Regular. Dwelling on a chessboard where they know only the 90-degree angle and the color white. They must not move. They must not reveal themselves. They are nothing. Right? A toxic community denying individuality. They carry on silent dialogues with each other, and with us. Let us answer them!
