Water+
Water is one of the most fundamental and vital elements for life on Earth. It is not only essential for all living organisms but also a carrier of countless stories, symbols, and mysteries that have shaped our planet and cultures. We cannot survive without water, yet we often take it for granted.
WATER+ is an experimental material study in which water acts as a living and constantly changing element. In dialogue with wax, salt, plants, minerals, or metal, it behaves as a creative force—dissolving, bonding, shaping. The project follows the poetry of transformation: solidification, crystallization, melting, evaporation, and sedimentation. Each experiment is a short story of the relationship between water and material, where form is never definitive but appears and disappears.
The project tracks the emergence and decay of matter as a dynamic process, in which water functions as a medium enabling the formation of volume, surface structures, and material properties. WATER+ is thus a search for the boundary between material, process, and the volatile trace that water leaves behind.
The project was created in collaboration with the Polymer Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV).
