Plan B

We often attribute a deeper meaning to objects than they actually possess. We turn them into icons that affect us magically, yet they say nothing about real human values—whether we are speaking of religious items to which we assign nonsensical gravity, or kitsch souvenirs. Often, these are merely empty objects with a 'gilded' exterior, reflecting a lack of taste that we easily allow ourselves to be enticed by.

It is precisely these wrappings and prints that became the inspiration for my work titled Plan B. I deliberately select tasteless forms devoid of quality content and merge them with kitsch, superficial packaging, photographs, and prints. Through the intersection of 3D objects and 2D photography, they acquire new meanings referencing a distorted reality and a void of substance.
