It's complicated
The project captures the essence of the intangible bond between humans and the world of objects. A curtain represents these relationships, while 3D-printed apertures symbolize the objects themselves. In interaction with a human participant, a living installation emerges—one where the actor loses the ability to distinguish non-verbal communication, subsequently substituting interpersonal relationships for a connection with inanimate objects.
Where once lived a gaze, now only glass remains.
We search with our eyes, but nothing stirs.
Desire fractures, the voice fades away.
Objects replace the silence between our hands.
You wear shapes, a veil mutes the sound.
Wordlessly, the human world disconnects.
