In philosophy, totality is a synonym for the absolute—the universal interconnectedness of all things and phenomena in nature and society. Humans require the concept of the absolute to successfully endure the relativity of their conditional existence. However, the absolute as such remains largely unfathomable to us; there is always something that surprises us despite our expectations.
Based on this idea, I created a series of eight 'identical' vases. Through subtle changes in the technological process, I disrupted their seemingly fixed and predetermined forms. Each piece thus becomes a testament to the fact that even within a system of totality, there is space for the unexpected and the unique.
