Mirroring vol.2
I perceive a reflection in a mirror as an interpretation of reality, where distortion always occurs in some sense. For me, a vase is a metaphor for a human being. In this project, I sought to push the classic archetype of a vase into a different form, utilizing various principles of mirroring.
Hybrid
Through the principle of the kaleidoscope, the vase shatters and simultaneously multiplies into a single whole. It becomes an unknown hybrid that still evokes something familiar within us.
Imitari
Mirroring is a term describing behavior in which one person subconsciously adopts the gestures, speech, or posture of another. This principle is utilized by vases that a person can assemble from predetermined components according to their own preferences. The vase thus acquires a unique appearance while simultaneously reflecting the character of its owner.
