Ritual
The project Ritual explores the phenomenon of magic in everyday life, focusing on its deconstruction and redefinition through the conscious experience of ordinary activities. It stems from the belief that magic is not exclusively the domain of mysticism or something distant; if we grant it our conscious attention, it becomes a natural part of our existence. The author has created a seven-step ritual based on common actions and everyday objects, extracted from mundane life and symbolically transfigured into magical artifacts.
The ritual takes place within a metaphorical protective circle, acting as a space of home and self-discovery. The result is an intimate conceptual space designed to offer a return to oneself, a feeling of the present moment, and a re-evaluation of one's relationship with their own existence—the way one experiences daily life. The project highlights the potential of the ordinary as a space for magical experience and seeks unorthodox narratives of personal ritual practice in the modern world—those that can serve as a catalyst for a new, conscious relationship with both the environment and oneself.
